Household Hazardous Waste Collection

These events are held at the Leominster DPW yard, located at 109 Graham Street. The City of Leominster provides residents with an opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste 4 times each year. Registration for the Hazardous Waste Day is no longer required; however proof of residency will be necessary at the site.

Vehicles will be taken in turn, beginning at 9 AM.  50 gallons of material maximum per vehicle.

MOTOR OIL CAN BE TAKEN TO THE DPW ON FRIDAYS, 8 AM - 12 NOON

Pick-Up Schedule for 2018

March 24, 2018; June 23, 2018; August 25, 2018; and November 17, 2018 (mobile Paper Shredder to be on site on this date). The events run from 9 AM to 12 PM.

  • Lead acid batteries
           

Town of Leominster residents can come to our events for free. If you can not make our events you can attend the other events listed below for a fee.

 Note: Latex paint will not be accepted as hazardous waste. Leave cans open until they solidify and dispose of them in your normal rubbish. The paint must be dried and solid prior to disposal.
