Welcome to the New
Disabilities Commission Web Page. As we grow in our
endeavors to serve the residents of Leominster we hope that this
website will become a enlightening source of information.
The
Commission meets once a month at the Leominster Library. All are
welcome to attend our meetings. The
following are the dates set for our next three meetings:
Wednesday May 21, 2008 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Wednesday September 24, 2008 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Wednesday October 22, 2008 at 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Mission Statement
The goal of the
Disabilities Commission is to make the city a user-friendly
community to all individuals. We intend to
do this by raising
public awareness through education and providing a resource of
information. We will promote
the right of all persons with
diverse disabilities so that full inclusion to all programs and
support services will be
