Important Notice Leominster Residents   The City of Leominster is pleased to announce new Transfer Station drop off hours for Leominster Residents, Effective Monday, December 5, 2005.    Mondays -- 7:00 a.m. to Noon    Fridays --7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.    Saturdays -- 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents are limited to one bag of trash per week. Anything in addition to the one bag will be paid at a reduced rate. Yard waste can be dropped off on any of the 3 days. All residents will be required to line up and go over the scale. There are fees that will be charged on any other item, i.e. construction and demolition waste, tires, etc. and these are subject to established rates. Residents are required to have a valid Transfer Station sticker, available at the Leominster DPW. Mission Statement The mission of the Department of Public Works is to maintain the City of Leominster’s water, sewer, and street systems for the protection of public safety and improvements of their quality of life. We will strive to adequately maintain the street infrastructure for safe and efficient movement of people, goods and services to enhance the economic vitality and livability of the city as measured by the PCI rating.
