Food Inspection
The Leominster Health Department permits and inspects all food services that are available to the public within the city limits. This includes restaurants, school cafeterias, food services, mobile food vendors and catering facilities. At this time the City of Leominster has 103 retail food establishments, 171 food services, 16 mobile food vendors and 3 catering facilities.

To prevent food borne illness, these establishments are inspected in accordance with the Massachusetts Food Code, 105 CMR 590 and the Federal Food Code of 1999.
