Mission

The Human Resources Department has the mission of maintaining a stable and efficient workforce for the City of Leominster by providing a full complement of supporting services to employees to ensure a balance between their economic needs and a healthy work environment.

The Human Resources Department establishes and monitors personnel policies and procedures, and ensures fair and consistent hiring practices. The Human Resources department is responsible for recruiting, selecting, and developing employees on the basis of their abilities, knowledge, and skills and ensuring that the work environment of the Departments are free from any instances of discrimination or harassment of any kind.
