Overview

Mission Statement


The purpose of the Leominster License Commission is to ensure compliance with city ordinances and applicable state laws by providing responsible and orderly licensing and/or changing of the original license agreement. This pertains to the following businesses that:
A. Sell liquor and /or food
B. Allow dancing
C. Supply automatic amusement devices
D. Purchase and /or sell automobiles new and /or used
E. Provide taxi or limousine service with the city of Leominster

The Leominster License Commission meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the T. Angelini Conference Room on the top floor of City Hall.

In the event that the scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, all agenda items will be moved to the next regularly scheduled meeting.

License Commision - 2 Alcohol Pouring Liscenses Available

Notice is hereby given under the Leominster License Commission’s Rules & Regulations that the Leominster License Commission has two all-alcohol pouring licenses available. Any interested party may submit a letter of interest no later than 4:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2010. Applications submitted after this date will not be reviewed or considered.

An informational meeting will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010, in the License Commission conference room located at 25 West Street, with all applicants who submit a letter of interest by the January 8, 2010 deadline. Applications will not be accepted by any applicant who does not go through the process as described above.

Common Victualler License

A Common Victualler License is required by any business that serves food to the public. This is an annual license that expires December 31st of each year. The cost per year is $25.00
