Mission Statement
The Community Development Office / Community Development Block
Grant Program’s (CDBG) primary focus is to assist in building
neighborhoods and an overall community that all Leominster
residents can be proud to call home.
Services offered through the Community Development Department
designed to enhance the City are as follows:
1. The management of the CDBG program. (This program funded by
The U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) allows
the City to grant funding assistance to numerous public service
agencies as well as other organizations that are committed to
working with low-moderate income individuals in the community.
Many of the aforementioned organizations provide outreach and
assistance to the homeless community, victims of domestic
violence, senior citizens and persons with special needs.
