BARRETT PARK USE POLICIES


• Groups must supply their own toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap for the bathhouse or provide a portable toilet with hand washing facilities.

• Groups are responsible for the bathhouse clean up, security, and clogged toilets. (If you wish to hire recreation staff to do this, the rate is $25.00 per hour with a minimum of four hours. This amount is not taken out of the security deposit.)

• Groups must sign for the bathhouse key the Friday before the activity and returned the following Monday.

• As of April 14, 2003 there will be a $25.00 reservation fee required payable to Leominster Recreation Department. Once your facility request is granted, you must submit payment to reserve a section of the park.

• If tables are moved, they must be returned to location found.

• Trash must be picked up off the ground and barrels lined with plastic liners. Bagged trash must be tied and put into the park dumpster across from the tennis courts.

• Children must be confined to the Barrett Park property and not wander on private property.

• Swimming is not allowed. Children must be watched at all times when near the water.

• Groups are responsible for their guest.

• A refundable $100.00 security deposit is required. This deposit will be returned if the key is returned, the bathhouse is clean, trash is picked up and emptied and there is no apparent damage to the park or any buildings. If a percentage of this security deposit is required to pay for services or repairs, it will take approximately two weeks to issue a check for the balance due.
