Items to be collected:

Antifreeze. Art/photography supplies. Automotive fluids, Button bat-teries, Car batteries, Creosote. Chemistry sets. DDT, Disinfectants.Drain cleaners, Dry gas, Engine degreasers, Flea killers. Fluorescent light bulbs, Furniture polish, Gasoline, Herbicides, Insect pump sprays. Kerosene. Lead acid batteries. Metal polish. Moth balls. Motor oil, Muriatic acid. Nickel-cadmium batteries. Paint (oil, marine. lead. hobby). Paint thinners/solvents/cleaners, Pesticides, Photographic supplies. Rechargeable batteries (nickel-cadmium). Rodent killers.Root killers. Septic tank cleaners. Spot removers/solvents. Swimming pool chemicals, Thermostats. Toilet bowl cleaners. Varnishes. Wood preservatives & stains

Items NOT accepted:

Aerosol cans w/o pesticides or disinfectants*. Air fresheners/deodorizers*. Alkaline or carbon-zinc batteries*. Ammunition, Asbestos. Car waxes/polishes/cleaners*. Caulk/spackle/grout*, Cosmetics*. Empty containers*. Explosives, Fertilizer w/o pesticides*. Glass & window cleaners*. Latex paints and stains*, Latex products (e.g. driveway sealer)*. Medical/Infectious Wastes, Nail polish*. Oven cleaner*, PC8'S (transformers), Propane Tanks/Cylinders, Smoke detectors (Radioactive), Scouring powder*

*Indicates that this material can be safely giren away for someone else to use and/orit may be thrown awar in your regular trash.

Note: Latex paint is NOT Hazardous Waste. Latex paint cans must be dried out and can be put out in the regular trash.
Note: Electronics are NOT taken at this event.
